Information you need to know before purchasing extensions!

Hey there ladies, this is just a quick blog on things you need to consider before purchasing hair extensions.

1)Gram weight:
Number one thing you need to consider before purchasing extensions is GRAM WEIGHT. Keep in mind the lower the gram weight, the thinner the extensions. The higher the gram weight, the thicker the hair extensions will be.
     a)Thin hair-100g-120g
     b)Medium hair-140g-160g
     c)Thick hair-180g-200+g
*Note*
One thing you need know about gram weights, is that most of the time the actual weight of hair is less. The gram weight that they state most of the time is with the clips included. Some companies state both.

2)Length:
Length is also important when purchasing hair extensions. Not all hair lengths will look the same on everybody; it depends on your height. If you're short (I'm 5'0) the hair will look longer than per-say on someone who is tall. So my theory is the taller the person the longer the hair they'll need for a long hair style.
**Tip**
To decide which desire hair length you'd like, use a measuring tape and measure from the crown of the head to wear you'd like the hair to fall on you. 


3)Standard Hair vs. Remy hair vs. Virgin hair
-Standard hair has hair from different sources and since the cuticles are facing different directions, they tend to snag on one each other causing tangling.
-Remy hair is a higher quality in which the hair is facing the same direction and the cuticle is still intact.
-Virgin hair means that the hair hasn't been processed in any way and is in it's natural state. This hair will last up to a year or more with good maintenance.

4)Color
I simply stated this one because with the different models of computers the brightness and screen resolutions on the computers can make the color of the extensions look altered. So please keep that in mind when purchasing hair extensions that the color you ordered may look slightly different than pictured.

*Note*
Usually, with the higher the gram weight, the longer the hair, the type of hair you're purchasing and if it's a specialty color, it can make the price of hair more expensive.

I'd like to begin my first blog discussing EXTENSIONS!!! I have been wearing extensions for the past 4 years. In this blog I am going to discuss the different brands I've owned and my personal experience and thoughts on them plus ratings I would give them. I've owned Sally's sassy collection hair extensions, pro extensions, foxy locks hair extensions. minihouse8888 hair extensions, Babydoll hair extensions, and body bling hair extensions. Now lets begin!!!

my experience: These were the first hair extensions I had ever purchased. When first opening the hair I loved how silky the hair was and thought these were the bees knees... boy was I wrong. These extensions barely lasted 2 weeks! The hair became so tangled and dry and were so thin, I couldn't even wear them anymore. Not to mention how much money these were plus the fact that they do not come with clips so you have to also invest in those, plus take the time to sew them onto the tracks and measure the tracks for your head. This was one of the worst hair extension brands I've owned.

My experience: These extensions were alright; they were much better than my sassy collection hair extensions and they were also two inches longer and already came prepared to wear. When I first purchased the hair it was very soft and shiny. The hair was also very durable and lasted me a while. The clips were nice and snug. I never died the extensions, I purchased them in jet black. I gave these extensions a low rating because they're very thin and they do not list the weight of the hair on the website, which is an important factor to me when purchasing extensions.

My experience: When I first purchased these extensions I was just blown out of the water. From the packaging, all of the hair, and how soft the hair was I fell in love. HOWEVER, as soon as those babies were brushed just clumps and clumps of hair kept falling out of the wefts. I was beyond frustrated between the cost of shipping and how much the extensions were I thought that much shedding wouldn't be a problem. After a month of frustration, I contacted the company because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and maybe I just received a bad batch. Let me tell you to customer service was horrible. All they cared about was the money and didn't give a crap about the quality of hair they had sent me. Almost every single weft I had there was no hair in the middle. The company was not willing to help me. This was the worst hair extension brand I've ever purchased and I will NEVER purchase from them again.

My experience: I've purchased from this website multiple times. This is one of the most affordable companies I've came across for the hair you get. I was weary at purchasing these hair extensions at first because they were coming from China and I didn't know if they were a legitimate company, but I'm happy I took a chance with them. The hair was superb. My only problem with these hair extensions was the shedding.

My Experience: I honestly dislike this company. When I first purchased these extensions they advertised them at 170g which was the main reason why I purchased them. A week later they posted on facebook that they were getting new thicker gram weights at 160g. I messaged them and asked how could they be thicker when the previous extensions I purchased before were 10g more. She responded back that in actuality the hair was 140g. NO WHERE ON THE WEBSITE DID IT STATE THAT. I felt cheated out of what I was expecting, not to mention they hike their prices up quite often. They also state how they're extensions are "sooo cheap" and the retail price is $299. Let me say the quality is horrible and no where near that much. The extensions only lasted 2 months and were never died.

The hair extensions are top notch, their hair color selection is phenomenal, customer service is beyond amazing, the craftsmanship was right on. I have re purchased from this seller multiple times and have not been let down at all.
