I know this last week may have been hard for some, with cutting all contact off, but as time passes it will become easier, promise! Just remember, whenever you feel an urge to text or call him, think about what he's done to you and the reason why you guys are no longer with each other! Which brings me to this weeks challenge!
Week 2 challenge:
-Do things that make YOU happy!
-Don't be afraid to splurge on yourself
-If you're in school, focus on your schooling and apply yourself!
-Make plans with your friends and family
-Go the salon, switch up your look. New chapter, new you!
-Exercise and listen to music-when you workout, your body releases endorphins to the brain stimulating yourself to be happy!
-Go on vacation, if possible.
Week two's challenge is focused on becoming independent and doing stuff for yourself to help keep your mind off of what was and beginning on your mind on what is :). Get out have fun and do things you never could before!!!

Break up bootcamp: Week 1
At some point we all go through one of those break-ups that make us feel like the world is ending and we just want to pull out the romance movies and indulge ourselves in a bucket of ice cream. HOWEVER, instead of looking at this break-up as a tragic even, we need to look at it as a chance to begin a new life for OURSELVES. That's right-it's time to quit thinking about what makes him happy and it's time to focus on what makes US happy. I'm creating a break-up bootcamp for everyone, including myself, and we'll work on conquering goals that we set out for ourselves and working through this chapter of our lives together! Each week will be a new step towards moving forward with our lives :).
Week 1 Challenge:
-Throw out every memory that reminds you of your ex; seeing these things around will only remind you of the good times, not the bad.
-Delete texts, pictures, number- anything else that will make you want to contact him.
-WRITE THAT ANGRY LETTER YOU'VE WANTED TO WRITE FOR SO LONG, BUT NEVER HAD THE BALLS TO DO IT AND KEEP IT FOR YOURSELF OR BURN IT! (This will help to give you closure).
-Do not contact your ex it will only slow down the process of moving on with your life!
-Instead of reminiscing of just the good times you shared, also think about what the other half does that hurts you and affects you. Is it worth to compromise your life and your mental well being?
-Sounds cliche, but think happy thoughts :)
Week one's challenge is centered around the initial steps needed to take to progress on with your life. I've went halfway through this process then caved in just to go back to a crappy relationship; it is not worth it. 9 out of 10 things will never change.
If you all would like feel free to write your letters in the comment box! We're all here to support each other.
My Letter.
Dear Asshole,
Four years I've wasted, waiting for you to be my prince charming. Four years I walked around on egg shells afraid that the slightest little thing would make you leave me. Four years I let you control the way I looked, how I felt about myself, and made me wish I was dead. Four years I dealt with the cheating, lying, and the hurtful name calling. Four years I gave up being a teenager for a relationship that you didn't even care about. Four years, and guess what I'm done! No longer will I let you or anybody ever make me feel like I'm not worthy of living. Never will I let myself be made as someone's last priority, and never again will I put someone that doesn't give two shits about me before I ever put myself. I gave you all of my teenage years, for nothing. Now it's time for me to be me without you influencing my life anymore.

Information you need to know before purchasing extensions!
Hey there ladies, this is just a quick blog on things you need to consider before purchasing hair extensions.
1)Gram weight:
Number one thing you need to consider before purchasing extensions is GRAM WEIGHT. Keep in mind the lower the gram weight, the thinner the extensions. The higher the gram weight, the thicker the hair extensions will be.
a)Thin hair-100g-120g
b)Medium hair-140g-160g
c)Thick hair-180g-200+g
*Note*
One thing you need know about gram weights, is that most of the time the actual weight of hair is less. The gram weight that they state most of the time is with the clips included. Some companies state both.
2)Length:
Length is also important when purchasing hair extensions. Not all hair lengths will look the same on everybody; it depends on your height. If you're short (I'm 5'0) the hair will look longer than per-say on someone who is tall. So my theory is the taller the person the longer the hair they'll need for a long hair style.
**Tip**
To decide which desire hair length you'd like, use a measuring tape and measure from the crown of the head to wear you'd like the hair to fall on you.
3)Standard Hair vs. Remy hair vs. Virgin hair
-Standard hair has hair from different sources and since the cuticles are facing different directions, they tend to snag on one each other causing tangling.
-Remy hair is a higher quality in which the hair is facing the same direction and the cuticle is still intact.
-Virgin hair means that the hair hasn't been processed in any way and is in it's natural state. This hair will last up to a year or more with good maintenance.
4)Color
I simply stated this one because with the different models of computers the brightness and screen resolutions on the computers can make the color of the extensions look altered. So please keep that in mind when purchasing hair extensions that the color you ordered may look slightly different than pictured.
*Note*
Usually, with the higher the gram weight, the longer the hair, the type of hair you're purchasing and if it's a specialty color, it can make the price of hair more expensive.
